Ukraine is ramping up the production of artillery systems and armored vehicles, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced, according to Ukrinform.

The country continues to implement its missile program and is reaching significant production levels in manufacturing artillery systems and armored vehicles. Additionally, Kyiv is establishing joint production ventures with partners and securing joint funds for purchasing Ukrainian-made weapons, the Ukrainian official explained.

“Every shell sent to the front on time, every drone, every piece of artillery increases the strength of our soldiers and helps save their lives,” Shmyhal noted.

He also emphasized the importance of reducing bureaucratic hurdles through digitalization.

“At the same time, we are implementing a new veterans’ policy. It includes new services and digital tools for veterans, simplifying procedures as much as possible. We are supporting veteran businesses and creating conditions for retraining them for new professions with subsequent employment. It also involves medical treatment and rehabilitation,” says Shmyhal.

Ukraine is focusing on modern rehabilitation centers that will operate according to the best global standards.

“It is about honoring the heroism of Ukrainian soldiers at every level, in every city and village, in every corner of our country,” the Ukrainian prime minister added.
