Ukrainian forces strike Russian command post in Zaporizhzhia with HIMARS and precision bombs

Ukrainian artillery and aviation struck a Russian command post in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, according to the "Come Back Alive" fund.

The Shark unmanned reconnaissance complex of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade carried out the assault. In addition to the command post, buildings housing Russian occupation troops were also hit.

OSINT researcher EjShahid has identified the strike area as the village of Novohorivka, located 20 kilometers from the front line.

The "Come Back Alive" specified that the strike was conducted with a US-made M142 HIMARS system.

Considering the dispersal area and the number of submunitions, it can be assumed that several M30 rockets or an ATACMS ballistic missile were used for the strike.

Additionally, based on the relatively small explosion volumes observed during the aviation strike, it is suggested that the Air Force used GBU-39 bombs, according to Militarnyi

.

The same type of bomb, a GBU-39, was used by the Air Force in the Kharkiv Oblast for an assault on Russian positions on 13 September.

At that time, three bombs hit targets in the village of Nova Tarasivka in the region.
