Democratic US presidential candidate Kamala Harris commented on her upcoming meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which is set to take place next week. She confirmed her participation in the event in a post on social media.
Next week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit the US, where he will take part in the UN General Assembly and hold several meetings, including with US President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and 45th President Donald Trump.
“Next week at the White House, I will meet with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine for the seventh time.
President Biden and I have been clear: Our commitment to the Ukrainian people as they fight for their freedom is unshakeable,” said Harris.
On 18 September, Zelenskyy announced that the Victory Plan for Ukraine was fully prepared. He said that he would discuss it with Harris, Biden, and Trump.
“All points, all key accents, and necessary appendices with details to the Plan have been defined. Everything has been worked out,” Zelenskyy stated. He emphasized that the most important aspect now is the determination to implement the plan, adding: “There is and can be no alternative to peace, no freezing of the war or any other manipulations that will simply transfer Russian aggression to another stage.”
Specific details of the plan remain undisclosed, and no public debate has taken place. Meanwhile, reports say that in the US, Zelenskyy is expected to push for NATO and European Union membership, economic and security agreements, and a continued supply of more advanced weapons.
