Ukraine downs 18 of 22 Russian drones launched overnight

Ukraine destroyed 18 out of 22 Russian Shahed-131/136 drones overnight into 5 March.

According to Ukraine’s Air Forces, Russian troops launched 22 drones from the Balaklava areas in Russian-occupied Crimea.

Crimea has become a Russian military base as well as other occupied territories and is used for further Russian aggression.

Ukraine’s military reported the Russian drones were downed over Odesa Oblast.

Odesa Oblast Head Oleh Kiper said that Russian drones hit a private house with a pier and outbuildings in the recreational facility in the Odesa district, which has not been functioning since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Russian drone attack on Odesa residential building on 2 March killed 12 civilians, including five children, and injured 20 people, including a pregnant woman.
