Demining in Ukraine is the biggest challenge for sappers since World War II and in this regard, the US plans to increase assistance in the training of sappers and the provision of additional equipment,  the Voice of America’s Russian Service reported, according to UkrInform.

“Demining in Ukraine is one of the largest challenges since World War II. As noted, the US State Department provided $91.5 million to assist Ukraine in mine clearance. The funds are directed to training, provision of demining equipment, as well as ensuring the work of demining teams.
