On Oct. 2, the Russian occupiers attacked Kryvyi Rih city with a kamikaze drone hitting a civilian infrastructure facility, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Administration Valentyn Reznichenko reported in Telegram.
He said that the enemy kamikaze drone arrived in Kryvyi Rih after midnight and hit the building of a local lyceum in the city center destroying two floors. Firefighters extinguished the ensuing fire. No one was injured.
As well, Russia launched a kamikaze drone attack on South Ukraine’s Mykolaiv Oblast on 2 October. Five of seven drones were shot fldown by Ukraine’s air defense, the Air Force Command reported.
Since Sept. 26, Russian invaders have used Iranian Shahed 136 kamikaze drones 29 times, said Brigadier General Oleksii Hromov, deputy head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
