The person who gave former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych a massive presse papiere in the form of a life-sized loaf of bread weighing 2 kilos made out of gold, turned out to be the President of public joint-stock company “Frunze Sumy science and production union” Volodymyr Lukianenko. This was discovered as a result of the extraction of documents in Mezhyhirya residence, stated head investigator of the Office of the Prosecutor General Ihor Slobodianyk in a comment to journalists. The investigator said that when they made an inventory of the property inside Mezhyhirya residence, a list of presents given to Viktor Yanukovych on his birthday on June 9th, 2013 was discovered among the papers belonging to his head of security Kostyantyn Kobzar. Among other things, the document states that the golden presse papiere was given to Yanukovych by Volodymyr Lukianenko.
Slobodianyk also stated that the extracted papers were accepted for investigation by the Main Investigation Headquarters of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. Volodymyr Lukianenko himself promised to comment on his present to “Kommentator” correspondent by phone, having asked to call him back in a couple of minutes; however, later his phone turned out to be out of coverage.
Lukyanenko’s secretary rudely refused to talk to the journalist and asked never to call her again, which may be considered an indirect confirmation of the present having been given by Lukianenko.
As reported earlier, the life-size golden loaf of bread and other golden masterpieces were discovered in Mezhyhirya on February 23rd right after Viktor Yanukovych’s flight.
