Some of the representatives of Donetsk police are helping the terrorists, by arranging travel corridors for them, and by accompanying their vehicles.
This was stated by a journalist from TV Channel 5 – Olexiy Bratushak on his Facebook page, where he emotionally expressed what was happening in Donetsk.
“I have returned from Donetsk airport. While covering the elections in Donetsk, I ended up in the epicenter of ATO. When the gunmen of the Donetsk-Chechen Republic have started retreating into the civilian sector, we ended up being encircled. Shots were fired all around us. It became very scary that we were at war without bulletproof vests nor helmets. One more factor that made an impression on me was the militia pigs. Yes, you’ve heard it right – not the police, but militia pigs. After the situation will be stabilised, they shouldn’t just get fired, they should also be punished for collaborating with the terrorists. Because these savages were arranging corridors for the terrorists to come through, and sometimes were accompanying their vehicles. In other words: all these pig militiamen should be executed! ”
In addition, Radio Svoboda has published a photo which confirms the journalist’s words. The caption reads: “A truck with gunmen is passing by the police post in the direction of the Donetsk Airport, 26th of May 2014”.
According to Obozrevatel today, on the 26th of May, ATO has commenced on the territory of the Donetsk airport, upon the expiration of the ultimatum presented by the Ukrainian Army to the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic.
