‘Trump is again OURS,’ Moscow commentators say

There has been yet another mood swing in Moscow about Donald Trump. After his election, Russian officials and commentators celebrated that event as a breakthrough for Russia. Then, after he came to office and took positions, Moscow didn’t like, many Russians dismissed him as a remake of Barack Obama as far as their country is concerned.

But now in the wake of Donald Trump’s firing of the FBI director and his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Russians again are expressing confidence that the US president will pursue policies they like and are declaring openly that “Trump is again OURS. Hurrah!

Karen Shakhnazarov, for example, said on Moscow’s First Channel TV program Thursday evening that Trump is Russia’s revenge for Gorbachev: He will divide the US and end up “in Miami instead of Foros.” Then, he continued, “we will rule the world.” Russians just have to wait because “Trump is again ours!

Such remarks, coming after more than two months of largely critical Russian commentary suggest that they, like the ones expressed earlier, are not so deeply held that they won’t change again on a dime (or perhaps a kopeck) if once again the US president does something Moscow doesn’t like.

But at the same time, they underscore Moscow’s hopes that it now has an opposite number in Washington who will not be constrained as were his predecessors by Russian actions at home like violations of human rights or abroad like the invasions of Georgia or Ukraine but who instead will want above all to make “a big deal” – and that Moscow can exploit that desire.

Stay tuned to ….Russia, the Freak Show!

Right! Another failed at its inception Dwarfstan’s attempt of of turning Americans against Trump. Remember one of the rules of US Secretary of Defense James “Mad Dog” Mattis, a former Marine Corps commander: “Be polite, be professional, but always have a plan how to kill everybody you meet!” Trump also plys by this rule. :)

I usually agree with the Euromaidan articles. This one is so far off the mark. The Russians want to believe that they control Trump – but even his staff doesn’t. All the actions the US has taken, Patriot missiles, troops, exercises, oil policy, sanctions, do not point to Trump being particularly favorable towards Putin and Russia. By appearing to favor Trump, though the Russians are adding fuel to the unfortunate Democrat narrative, thus helping Putin destroy Trump and thereby hurt the US. Best Russian Disinformation narrative yet, all thanks to “useful democrat idiots”, who don’t care if they destroy the country to get Trump.

    • laker48

      Concur! :)

    • Czech Mate

well, you forgot to mention Orange one himself who is not a role model for competent patriotic presidency in the first place thus giving Democrats and all his opposition ammo for free.

And btw with the Lavrov visit in White House and the unusual inviting of the TASS photographer as a latest gaffe-does this help and is he forced to do this?

      • Kestutis Eidukonis

To Czech Mate – Democrats would have attacked ANY Republican with equal gusto. The Orange one does not let them get away with it. He drives them and many of their sympathizers crazy. Hillary was compromised by Putin himself. HE has her incriminating e-mails and other “Kompromat” on her and Bill. Democrats are wittingly or unwittingly helping to destroy Trump and thereby discredit US democratic process. Can just see Moscow’s coverage of the “Mess” in the US.

        • Czech Mate

except Trump is acting in an autocratic way which is a lose lose anyway you slice it. And he absolutely doesn’t have to!
Like your favourite sports team cheating to victory and stamping at the rules. Who’s to say that the next guy, say your rival team, won’t be tempted to do the same and we all lose as a result? That is my point and I am afraid to say you idolize T too much.

      • Turtler

“well, you forgot to mention Orange one himself who is not a role
model for competent patriotic presidency in the first place thus giving
Democrats and all his opposition ammo for free.”

When you’re literally inventing your own ammunition, it is time to admit tha there is literlaly nothing Trump could do that would stop the DNC’s hysteria. Even Reagan- who WAS a role model for competent, patriotic presidency- has been savaged by the DNC both then and now.

To some degree that’s part of the nature of freedom and competitive government, after all free people do not need their leaders to have sky high approval ratings supported by systematic fraud as our resident Kremlin Trolls have shown. But after a while it passes that and gets to the realm of psychopathic desire for power at any price. That threshold was probably reached at the “Russia Stole the Election” claim that Goble and others use. which has been debunked by the generous pro-Hillary source “Shattered.”

“And btw with the Lavrov visit in White House and the unusual inviting
        of the TASS photographer”

It isn’t unusual to invite foreign dignitaries- even evil scumbags- into the White House, and apparently TASS was brought in at the Kremlin’s desire. Hard to call this much of a gaffe, though given Putin’s use of it to try and one up Trump (which by the way is almost certainly not going to make Trump love Putin more) might make it a misstep.

        • Czech Mate

I am sorry but I just cannot see Trump for what he is not- a good patriotic president for all Americans. Do you think his outrageous claims how America compared to Putin’s ruSSia is not so innocent, his praises of various dictators, do you think this is worthy of a POTUS timber? And jury (plus FBI) is still out for his shady ruSSky connections. The sooner there is a proof he is innocent or guilty the better for all of us, except Kremlinals.

          • Turtler

“I am sorry but I just cannot see Trump for what he is not- a good
            patriotic president for all Americans.”

I didn’t claim he was a good President, the jury will still be out. Frankly the low, low bar I have to compare to is the Dems he ran against (who are respectively a deeply, terminally corrupt former Secretary of State who left people under her command to die at Benghazi and left classified information to be scooped up by net attacks, and a Sandinista cosplayer) and Barack Obama. who I will remind you was no paladin of Western Freedom.

In my case it was very much supporting the lesser of evils. Which is why I didn’t support Trump in the Primary.

“Do you think his outrageous claims how America compared to Putin’s ruSSia is not so innocent, his praises of various dictators, do you think this is worthy of a POTUS
            timber? ”

No, I don’t. Though he has certainly changed. that.

And question: did you come after Barack Obama when he did similar praising? When he pledged to one of Putin’s emmisaries that he would be “more flexible” after reelection, when he went into “Reset” mode, when he negotiated on behalf of the “Islamic Republic” of Iran during the Iran Nuclear Giveaway? When he claimed that the US and Indonesia had the same values?

I’m not naive enough to think Trump is perfect. Far from it. But the idea that he should get as much or even more flak for a FRACTION of what Obama did does not stand well.

And frankly, as unsatisfying and unpleasant as it is to say, to some degree kissing up to authoritarian scumbags that the US needs to be on good terms with is part of the POTUS’s job. The issue is doing it no more than is necessary (which I will admit that Trump has not. But then neither has Obama).

“And jury (plus FBI) is still out for his shady ruSSky
            connections.”

Which is already a pretty damning thing for those charges, given the extreme focus the most dense media industry on the world has given this for nearly half a year in spite of how there has been no evidence of collusion between Trump and the Kremlin in regards to the election, and this has been asserted by just about every party in a position to oversee this.

Four Words: Innocent Until Proven Guilty.

And right now there is essentially no proof. He not only has not been found guilty, there has been no grounds to justify support for an indictment.

So until further farqing notice the null hypothesis and default position is that there is No There There, and it was a sham show conducted by his political enemies to try and explain their defeat in terms other than “our candidate sucks and our ground game sucked.”

“The sooner there is a proof he is innocent or guilty the better for all of us, except Kremlinals.”

On that much we absolutely agree. Though honestly- and this is part of the issue I see- what would really “prove him innocent” to the likes of “The Resistance” or Antifa , who have already staked what credibility they had on the idea that he is a Fascist and puppet of the Kremlin? And to show i am not uniquely biased, I think there is a similar issue with the number of people on teh right who assumed Obama was a crypto Muslim on the basis of extremely thin evidence (like being listed as Muslim in an Indonesian school document decades ago). or that. What would convince them otherwise?

Honestly, at this point I’m skeptical about just how well this will work.

  • Turtler

    Ok…

A: Who are these “Commentators” and why the flying farq should we take anything they say seriously?

B: How utterly stupid does this have to be on its’ face?

I mean, let’s start with someone who unquestionably, without a doubt started as “Russia’s”, who was aligned with them openly, and dependent on them to far greater extents than Trump ever was. Like Mao and Tito. Anybody remember them?

Now, how stupid would it be for the Pravada or some other “commenters” to have gone “Mao/Tito is ours again” after the splits between Stalin and Tito and Khruschev and Mao? Farqing none. Even after the thaws following the intiial catastrophic breaches, the Soviets never again “owned” them, never again could call them “theirs.” Tito and Mao would go on to pave their own way as evil communist dictators, and while they would occasionally buddy up with the Kremlin to pursue objectives they never went back to taking orders like they had in the thirties and forties.

Given this, what are the freaking chances that the Kremlin actually owns Trump now that he’s been willing to blast Assad and is now President of a nation that is *far more powerful than his supposed masters*?

Seriously. It’s one thing to not like Trump, but some basic logic would be welcome.

  • laker48

Trump knows that Dwarfstan is on its last legs and as far as I know his modus operandi, he won’t play charity towards the Dwarf and Dwarfstan. Trump is a cold and calculated businessman whose closest circle of advisors are hawks.

    • RedSquareMaidan

I kind of wish Trump would meet with the head mafia dwarf and get it over with. The sooner he lies to Trump, the better.

  • Murf

Idiot Russians don’t have a clue as to who they are dealing with.
Trump is not a President, he is the CEO in Chief.
He loves negotiating. He revels in the face to face meeting, the cut and thrust of the deal.
When he asks for a meeting he is not crawling on his knees, it is one rival CEO to another over Golf or Lunch.
Hel he even was willing to meet the North Korean Midget.

    • RedSquareMaidan

After Obama, I welcome a “CEO in Chief.” I hope this CEO will seal the deal with Putin and arm Ukraine. He will get anything he wants from Putin if he does it.

      • Murf

Trump has his faults but he certainly doesn’t lack for guts, something that Obama was thoroughly lacking in.
His Syrian strike set Putin back on his heels pronto!
He has also answered Turkey’s objections to arming the Kurds in Syria with To bad, get used to it.”
nor does he mind playing brinkmanship with North Korea.
So I doubt Putin will try doing anything directly against Ukraine in the near future.

        • laker48

Totally agree! Trump has cojones and is a man of action. He’s also a master of surprise and unpredictability. He’s already given Kremlin strategists many headaches and sleepless nights. He’s for sure a friend of Ukraine, albeit not necessarily a friend of president Poroshenko or other Ukrainian oligarchs. He marches to his own drum.

          • Andrew Chmile

you are a LYING & ignorant polak enemy of Ukraine, you SCUMBAG!

        • Andrew Chmile

“His Syrian strike set Putin back on his heels pronto!”

Trump TOLD the Ruski (Syrians) about that BS (very expensive) “missile strike” AHEAD OF TIME Murf! :)

          You KNOW THAT!
It was/is a TOTAL SHAM — to make Trump appear as OTHER THAN what he is …. A RUSKI PAWN … who DARES NOT say anything negative about Putin.

Now he can withhold aid to Ukraine, & later on, lift sanctions from Russia, & give Putin Ukraine!

          This is very apparent.

Ukraine means FAR MORE to the Russo-mongolians than some BS desert sh*thole next to BS Israel rathole, that we really have no real U.S. interests in … despite all the NOISE that BS msm makes about it

… whilst IGNORING what is really occurring in the VERY GEOGRAPHIC CENTER of CHRISTIAN EUROPE, to put it in very UNpolitically correct terms. :)

          • Murf

            Of course he did.
There were Russians on the base and the point was it*h slap Assad not start WWIII.
The one rule since 1945 is that the US and USSR/Russia don’t knowingly shoot at each others regular troops.
That’s how a Cold War turn into hot war very quickly and that’s something we have to keep a very sharp eye on.
We jerk each other around. arm proxies against each other. play all sorts of school boy propaganda games like buzzing each others ships. Etc..but there is not actual shooting.
Remember we upwards of 1000 troops in Syria. All would be legitimate targets if we started hitting their boots on the ground.
Even as far back as the Korean War Soviet pilots flying for North Korea were forbidden go past the front lines and US pilots cold not pursue the Soviets across the boarder into Soviet air space.
Trump may be Putin’s sock puppet but his willingness to attack a client country that Putin very publicly stated he would defend changes the entire complexion of world politics.
It was obviously clear that Obama was not going to use the full weight of the US military no matter what the circumstances. no matter how much it violated international law or personally embarrassing to him self (Red Line anyone?)
Love him or hate him from that point on everyone has to take him seriously.

          • Andrew Chmile

I can agree with all that, but msm, along with the Ruski, turned it all into FAR MORE than it was worth…. or that it actually accomplished …. very expensive as well, for not much at all.

Better if Trump enforced the Budapest Memorandum INSTEAD …. you know “U.S. word of honor” — NOT!

Like your phrase above: “… Trump may be Putin’s sock puppet…”

          • Murf

            Well Andrew Trump is.
The sanctions that Russia hoped he would end are not going any where.
Publicly spanking Assad while Putin stood back fondled himself did a great deal to destroy Putin’s “invisibility” image. Whats more Trump did it with hardly any effort. Two destroyers launched that strike, that’s just a fraction of the 6th Fleet. let alone a Carrier battle group or the Air Force that is already in the region. An underlaying massage is also that could have just as easily been the The Presidential Palace, the Defense Ministry, and Army HQ. With a hundred missiles the entire command structure of the Syrian military could have been wiped out in 30 minuets. With just what we have in place, right now.
Obama was incapable of ordering such a strike.
Do you think Trump is incapable?
I sure as sh*t think he can if he gets a wild hair up his a$$.
And if you are a leader who is looking at a confrontation with him you had better be prepared for the possibility.
I would be willing to bet Putin is.
The next thing Trump is doing is unchaining US oil production. He has already signed off on building the Keystone XL pipeline which will bring more Canadian oil onto the market. He has allowed more off shore drilling and will probably allow more oil exports.
The Brent Crude price has already dropped 5 DPB and lower. The US and others have already made up for the production cuts Russia and OPEC agreed to.
For every 10 DPB below 89 Putin looses 138 BILLION DOLLARS a year.
Even with all the painful budgets cuts Putin has made he is still burning through his cash reserves and deficit spending by 3.5% of his GDP. With the increase in production the price of oil is not going anywhere.
This is kick straight to Putin’s bals.
The US couldn’t be doing more damage to Russia than if we used a tactical NUC. With a whole lot less side effects.
Trump is doing exactly what he said he was going to do and is unlock US oil production and deal with Putin from a position of strength.
When they do meet there will be no question as to who the DADDY is and who is the punk a$$ bit*h.
In the end Operation Trident Storm (my name for the liberation of Donbas) will take place and Russia won’t lift a finger to stop it.
Indeed they will breath a heavy sigh of relief.

          • Andrew Chmile

I haven’t seen TRUMP do ANYTHING yet …. EXCEPT to remove the “defense of Ukraine” plank from his campaign platform, & then say he didn’t know anything about it & say he’d “look into that.”

Oh yeah … to also CUT IN FAR LESS THAN HALF, any military aid to Ukraine….

You know Murf, Ukraine with about 20% of the population in Soviet Union times, had 52% of TOTAL Soviet industrial production ,,,,& oh yeah, made over 50% of Soviet NUKES… Hmm … yeah … Trump is smart … I & others DO WONDER, where that “missing” 19.5% of Russian Rosneft Oil Company stock went ?!?!?

TRUMP is LOUDLY talking of how Russia & the U.S. should get along … earlier he was going to drop “sanctions” (SNORT!) if Russia would help him get a glass of water as a “reason”. — He also “heard” that Crimea WANTED to be with Russia… :))

Don’t get me wrong Andrew I am not a Trump fan.
I am just analyzing what he does and how it will effect the Ukraine situation.
His oil expansion is about “Making America Great Again” more jobs and big profits. It also puts him in control of the worlds oil supply. Which I am sure makes him feel all cool and powerful. A side effect is that he gets to keep Vlad’s bals in a vice. The CEO in Chief knows it and the Mafia Boss in Chief knows it too.
It also means China has to play nice too. They like cheap oil also.
No, Trump does not care overly much about Ukraine but his people do and people who he DOES have to care about do also.
He may only have asked for a small amount in the budget but Congress authorized 560 million. Trump has to care great deal about what Congress thinks particularly the Republicans. If he wants to get anything done he has to have their support because he is never going to get much from the Dems.
However he can be won over.
When he meets Poroshenko, Poro needs to walk into the room like he has a Porn star’s dik and owns the room. He needs shake Trump’s hand firmly, look Trump straight in the eye and say “You, Mister President are going to bet on ME!”
When Trump says . “What about Putin?” Pro says “Forget Putin he is a poser, a total fraud. He has run his country into the ground. If he were in charge of one of your companies you would have fired him and thrown him out the office widow. Here is what I can do for you. I have one the largest underdeveloped regions in Europe. I can buy things the US has to change that, I can diversify your Titanium supply. I can lure away from China every other factory they have because my wages and costs are half of theirs, I am going to have the largest and best Army in Europe. If Putin tries anything in the Baltics I’ll hit him low in the knee caps.
Plus mister President I am going to do something for you that no other leader in the world can do. I am gong to take you for a ride in the largest flying heavy than air object ever conceived by man. Can Putin do that for you?”
“Now here is what I need to make that happen…”
            No more playing sympathy cards.
Trump is a hard nosed Businessman. In their dictionary Sympathy comes between Su*ks and Sorry. Only looser beg for sympathy.
He wants to know what you can do for him.
However Poroshenko is a business man also. A self made man and probably richer than Trump. Sooner or later Trump will realize Putin is just another corrupt civil servant using his office try to bilk Trump out of his hard earned money.

But Putin — is STRONGLY suspected of BUYING “the TRUMP GANG” — with 19.5% of Ruski oil company Rosneft.

Seems like most of the below turned out to be true, didn’t it?

MOST Trumps OLD & NEW “team — Jeff Sessions PERJURED himself about meeting Ruski people during that Hearing said he had a look of PANIC when asked & looked at his attorney …. SO HE *LIED* LIKE A RUG! … Later said the meeting was in the course of “senate business” — so Y TF he use Trump CAMPAIGN FUNDS TO FLY OVER & MEET THE RUSKI AMBASSADOR FOR??? — Hmm…. I am confused now… a LOT of things like that — as you DO know Murf… isn’t there?

Hmm… 19.5% of Rosneft … lot of bucks…. people have died/killed … that mix of Ruski STATS& MAFIA **AND** TRUMP?

Long article — last part of which — is —- “most curious”.

Otherwise — what you pen above, I can agree with …. Trump is HATED in NY as you know.. He fked a LOT of people — he “HAS TO”. — It’s HOW HE GETS OFF! The Rogaine shrinks your dik! :) –Seriously!

conspiratorial wink at the camera like the naughty boy he is. Christ, the Russians would love him even more.”

Yep! True enough but of course!

But in terms of “thinking” …. “… with the big head & not….”
He’s just about CRAWLING up Putin’s leg to his Ruski @ss as you *DO* KNOW — and VERY WELL!

He can’t even keep his **STUPID** & OBVIOUS LYING “somewhat presentable” — without changing it — all over again. — ADD perhaps? :)

Side effects of the Rogaine? :)
(you may wish to look that one up BTW! :)
-see what happens when yo’ dik shrinks? — mental changes as well you know 😉

Ever hear Trump try his “clever” BS talks? :)

I’ve had kids do a FAR BETTER job of it! :)
            Much more SMOOTHLY!!!

            * I * can PROUDLY say — I didn’t vote for that FAT BULL D Y K E.
or that IGNORANT, **GREEDY** SWINE — Trump!

Trump is JUST *AS* “honest” as Obama …

He’ll wipe out some Seal Team 6 dudes the way Obama did too, when it;s “good” for him…

Trump, in effect, “crawls” to the Ruski mafia that finances him though …. :)

AND THEY ARE THE REAL LOW CLASS RUSKI-JEWISH MAFIA, CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING etc.. etc… HORRIBLE & VERY NASTY STUFF!!!

      Trump’s only “god” is MONEY!
      He NEVER had any morals…

Nor do his Ruski-Jewish mafia “associates” …

As has been noticed — Trump has NEVER bad-mouthed scumbag Putin.
      Has defended him in fact.
But he has the former FBI Director Comfey.

RuSSians are full of the bull.

  • Jamesmace

You people are Russian trolls after all. This ridiculous claim about Trump being a Russian puppet follows your airbrushing of Trumps very good meeting with Ukraine’s FM and Ambassador. Does Duranty work here? Your reporting benefits only Russia.

    • laker48

Totally agree, but some idiots don’t understand that he’s the President of the USA, not corrupt Ukraine, and that he will stand for Ukraine only if it’s in the best interest of the USA. I don’t believe he’s going to extend any economic help to Ukraine as long as the Poroshenko administration keeps licking Angela Merkel’s a*s. US interests in Europe aren’t necessarily aligned with the interests of France and Germany tacitly colluding with the Putinist RuSSia.

Trump has been unwittingly giving classified intelligence to the Russkiys, says the Guardian. What a chump. He may be impeached yet.

    • laker48

It’s likely a lie spread by the hating Trump leftist Washington Post that has already lost quite a few lawsuits and had to pay exorbitant punitive damages. I’ve already read that piece in full and it’s about nothing, but unsupported allegations. Those shills are unrepentant, though.
