A couple hundred activists in Warsaw, Poland, marched in solidarity with Ukraine [on November 23].

«I want to thank everyone that today you are with us, as you have been throughout the whole year. Exactly a year ago we came to the embassy because we were Ukrainians. But we were supported by many Poles,” said Natali Panchenko, head of Euromaidan Warszawa, at the opening of the march.

A column under Ukrainian and Polish flags marched through Warsaw to the Ukrainian embassy. The participants finished the march by lighting candles at the memorial plaque for the fallen heroes and honored them by a minute of silence (all photos by Hromadske).

Representatives of the Polish Sejm joined the march, expressing their support for Ukraine.

“Putin is the largest terrorist in the world. And the only way for Europe to defeat him is by uniting,” noted Polish Sejm member Malgorzata Gosiewska.
