Two citizens of Ukraine were arrested on September 21 in Moscow, but not at the "March of Peace" protest. This was reported in the Moscow Interior Ministry head office.
"The news of detention of two Ukrainian citizens at the March of Peace is untrue," goes the statement.
It added that on September 21 in Moscow, there were indeed two people arrested who "violated public order and disobeyed the requests of police to stop their illegal actions."
Currently the detainees are charged with administrative offenses.
Recall that the Embassy of Ukraine in Russia sent a notice to the Russian Foreign Ministry regarding the detention of citizens of Ukraine at the peace march in Moscow.
