The investigative project Schemy (Schemes) from Ukrainian RFL/RE analyzed satellite imagery from Planet Labs of the Borisoglebsk area in Russia’s Voronezh Oblast.

The images show damage to the 711th aviation plant, which was attacked by drones on April 9. One of the plant’s buildings suffered a roof collapse from the strike.

The aviation plant, located over 300 km from Ukrainian-controlled territory, is where Russia repairs all types of aircraft missiles used to shell Ukraine, as well as ground communications and air support equipment.

Ukrainian intelligence confirmed they organized the drone attack on the plant.

“Yes, it was an aviation plant. This is what we can confirm from various sources. There was a rumble – we can also confirm this. We will not disclose details, but the main production facilities were affected,” said the Ukrainian military intelligence spokesperson Andriy Yusov.
