Russian military attacked six Ukrainian oblasts over the past day, killing two civilians and injuring seven others, local authorities reported on 28 February.
Russian military fired at 21 settlements of Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson over the past day, killing one person and injuring two others, Governor Oleksandr Produkin said.
Russian attack reportedly damaged 27 residential buildings, a cargo ship, cars, a farm, and a grain elevator.
In Kharkiv Oblast, the Russian army targeted several settlements in the Kupiansk and Bohodukhiv regions over the past day, damaging residential buildings, cars, and enterprises, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said.
A 42-year-old man was hit by a mine while cleaning his land plot. He was taken to a medical institution with numerous injuries.
The Russian military also shelled three regions in Donetsk Oblast, killing one person and injuring five people in Hirnykover the day, Governor Vadym Filashkin said.
Russian forces also attacked Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts over the past day, but no casualties were reported.
On the night of 28 February, Ukraine’s Air Defenses shot down 10 out of 10 Russian drones over Mykolaiv & Odesa oblasts.
