Kharkiv, a major city in northeastern Ukraine, experienced a new wave of Russian aggression on Saturday evening as missiles targeted its industrial zone. Mayor Ihor Terekhov urgently warned residents via Telegram, urging them to remain cautious as the city once again came under fire.
In the aftermath, Mayor Terekhov reported that the strike resulted in damage to a non-residential building within one of Kharkiv's industrial districts. There were no reported casualties from this specific incident.
However, in the broader region, in the village of Vovchanski Khutory, part of the Vovchansk community in the Kharkiv Oblast, a 72-year-old man lost his life due to Russian artillery barrage. The Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration confirmed the tragic event, marking yet another civilian casualty in the ongoing war.
The sounds of explosions were not confined to Kharkiv alone. Reports from Suspilne, a Ukrainian public broadcaster, indicated that today blasts were heard in Mykolayiv, suggesting a wider scope of Russian military activity in the area.
