In the past 24 hours Kherson gripped by unrelenting Russian assaults as 536 shells hit, sparking fires.

The Security Service of Ukraine (DSNS) reports Russian attacks in Kherson Oblast, with Russia's forces launching 536 projectiles of various types in the past 24 hours towards recently de-occupied areas.

Amid the barrages, four fires were recorded. In the city of Kherson, a fire engulfed an administrative building, a private car, as well as utility structures and a garage. Another fire erupted in a garage facility in the Daryivska community.

The firefighters of Kherson, along with the local firefighting team from the village of Vysokе, successfully contained the blazes.

The Ukrainian National Police showcased the aftermath of a night-time drone attack on the Tavriysk microdistrict in Kherson. Russia-operated unmanned aerial vehicles caused extensive damage, nearly obliterating an administrative building, damaging two multi-story residences, and leaving seven vehicles in ruins. The attack also triggered a fire at the site.
