Security alert: Secret recording devices found in office of General Zaluzhnyi

According to RBC-Ukraine, on 17 December, several surveillance devices were discovered in the office of the Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

“These devices were found today during the preparation of the premises for work,” a spokesperson for the publication stated.

The uncovered devices are made from unidentified components, making it challenging to trace the installer. Ukrainska Pravda also reports that similar surveillance devices were found among Zaluzhnyi’s associates.

On 16 December, the German publication Welt reported that Zaluzhnyi plans another counteroffensive in 2024. Currently, Ukrainian forces are gathering the necessary resources for this operation.

Additionally, in November, Zaluzhnyi penned an article and gave interviews to Western media, discussing his mistakes, the risks of positional trench warfare, and the requirements for victory over Russia. Following this, rumors began circulating about alleged disagreements between Zaluzhnyi and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
