Russia, Iran sign declaration to counter Western sanctions
In a significant move amidst ongoing geopolitical tensions, Russia and Iran have signed a declaration aimed at countering sanctions imposed by the West. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced the agreement following a meeting with his Iranian counterpart in Moscow on 5 December.
"We have signed the declaration on ways and means of countering, mitigating, and compensating for the negative consequences of unilateral coercive measures.
