Ukraine’s air defenses down all 21 Russian drones and two guided missiles overnight

Overnight on November 29th, Russia launched 21 Shahed-136/131 drones from around the port city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk in southern Krasnodar Krai and three Kh-59 guided missiles from the occupied Kherson Oblast, General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported

The main target area of the Russian drone attack was Khmelnytskyi Oblast, while the missiles were aimed at southern Ukraine

Ukraine’s air defenses successfully destroyed all of the drones and missiles, shooting down Russian UAVs over Odesa, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Kyiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Khmelnytskyi oblasts. Two out of the three Kh-59 guided missiles were taken down in Mykolaiv Oblast.

“The third missile did not reach the desired target,” General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces added.

According to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast governor Serhii Lysak Ukraine’s air forces shot down 8 drones over the Pavlohrad, Novomoskovsk, Kryvyi Rih and Dnipro districts. Overnight and into 29 November, the Russian army also fired heavy artillery at the Nikopol region in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Lysak added.
