Russian citizen Symon Verdin, resident of the city of Ufa, with a degree in direction, illegally crossed the Ukrainian state border three months ago to provide information support for the terrorists in the East of Ukraine. According to the journalist, he came to Ukraine on orders of one of the Russian political parties to lend medical and humanitarian aid to the terrorists.

Having introduced himself as a journalist for “Rossiya 24” TV channel, he immediately received accreditation with the mercenaries and permission to move around the territory temporarily under PRD terrorist control.

The edited reports, in which the author, under influence of Russian propaganda, regularly presented the ATO and the actions of the terrorists,  were uploaded to the Internet.

According to him, after speaking the wounded in the ATO zone and watching the events unfold, the journalist understood that the conflict on the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts was provoked and is being encouraged by Russia, and the civilians are the ones that are suffering the consequences.

The journalist also noted that Russian mass media are monstrously distorting the reality of the events in Ukraine.

“During my time in Ukraine I haven’t seen a single ‘Banderite,’ however I found out about the instances of fire having been opened at Ukrainian villages and cities on part of the Russian Federation and the terrorists using “Grad” systems.”
