Ukrainian drones set fire to the Feodosiia Maritime Oil Terminal in eastern occupied Crimea overnight into 8 April, igniting a blaze visible from far away, monitoring Telegram channels reported. Ukraine's drone forces commander confirmed the strike and separate hits on logistics targets in occupied Luhansk Oblast the same night. Separate strikes between 5 and 7 April also destroyed two air defense systems and a counter-battery radar across occupied Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk oblasts.
Feodosiia terminal struck again
Ukrainian drones hit the Feodosiia-based JSC Maritime Oil Terminal overnight into 8 April — the drone forces dated the attack as 7 April — triggering a large-scale fire. Monitoring channels Krymsky Veter and Exilenova+ reported the strike past midnight. Russian news Telegram channel Astra analyzed footage and confirmed flames were visible in the area of the terminal.

NASA FIRMS satellite data independently confirmed the fire's location.

The glow was visible more than 20 km from the terminal. Local reports noted railway crossings blocked on the Kerchenske highway and on Fedka Street near the facility.
Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces (SBS) Robert Madyar Brovdi confirmed the strike, attributing it to the 9th battalion Kairos of the 414th brigade Birds of Madyar.
A sustained series of Ukrainian strikes in fall 2025 destroyed 11 fuel tanks and left several more badly damaged, with 7 tanks assessed as undamaged at that point. ISW assessed at the time that Russia may never be able to fully restore the facility.
The latest fire shows some capacity remained operational.
Luhansk Oblast struck the same night
On the same night as the Feodosiia strike, Ukrainian drones hit logistics warehouses in Sukhodilsk in occupied Luhansk Oblast. Monitoring channels reported multiple explosions and a fire in Luhansk city itself.
Locals also reported drone sounds and explosions in Sorokyne, in southeastern Luhansk Oblast, and in its suburbs of Sukhodilsk and Otamanivka. Results in Luhansk city remain unconfirmed.
Brovdi confirmed the Sukhodilsk warehouses as a target, attributing the strike to the 9th battalion Kairos of the 414th brigade.

A drone storage facility and pre-flight drone preparation point also burned in Stepne in occupied Donetsk Oblast, the same night, credited to the 413th separate regiment Raid.
Air defense and radar kills: 5–7 April
In separate strikes over the preceding days, Ukrainian drones destroyed two air defense systems and a counter-battery radar across occupied Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk oblasts.
On 5 April, the 1st assessment center of the SBS destroyed a Zoopark-1M counter-battery radar in occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Brovdi described it as a high-precision system and "a fierce enemy of Ukraine's Defense Forces' artillery" — a counter-battery radar complex he said was now "roasted."

On 6 April, the same unit destroyed a Buk-M3 surface-to-air system, also in occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On 7 April, the 413th separate regiment "Raid" destroyed a Tor-M2 air defense system in occupied Donetsk Oblast.
