Russia continues its terror: Zelenskyy warns Europe
At the Summit, Zelenskyy said, "We all now live in a new reality, and I believe everyone understands this, even those who are not yet willing to admit it.""Recent drone incidents across Europe are a clear signal that Russia remains confident enough to expand this war. And it was never only about Ukraine. Russia has always sought to break the West, especially Europe," Zelenskyy added.He noted that Ukrainian “guys” are already here in Denmark and have begun their mission to teach soldiers how to take down Russian drones.
Currently, Ukraine is the only country in Europe that has experience of opposing modern warfare.
"We are ready to share this experience with you, partners. And this is only the beginning — the first step toward creating an effective ‘Drone Wall’ to protect all of Europe," the President said.According to him, if the Russians dare to use drones against Poland or violate the airspace of Northern European countries, it means “this could happen anywhere — in Western Europe or Southern Europe.”
PURL support and European unity
Zelenskyy called on countries to join the PURL initiative, which helps strengthen defense and partnerships between Europe and the US."This initiative not only supports us but also strengthens ties between Europe and the United States. The key is to remember that the root of the problem is Russia’s war," Zelenskyy emphasized.He also supported US President Trump’s call to stop buying Russian oil in Europe, especially in Hungary, noting that energy resources from the US and other partner countries can fill the market gap.
Sanctions against Russia and European energy security
The Ukrainian leader also stressed that Russia’s war continues because it has resources for further offensives. Therefore, the 19th sanctions package against Russia must be urgently adopted, and the oil‑trade infrastructure fueling its war machine must be destroyed."Russia continues to use tankers despite sanctions. This must be stopped. Additional sanctions are needed against captains, crews, and owners of shadow‑fleet companies," Zelenskyy said.He previously noted that Russia uses these tankers to launch drones across Europe.
