Ukraine’s Unified Register of Missing Persons Under Special Circumstances contains data on more than 1,700 Ukrainian children, reports Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Leonid Tymchenko.
As of 29 October, over 52,000 people are registered in the Ministry of Internal Affairs registry, which keeps track of persons missing under special circumstances, Tymchenko said during a national television marathon broadcast.
The Ministry has established specialized search centers in regional capitals to assist families searching for relatives who may have disappeared due to military operations.
