Ukrainian World Congress delegation meets with President Zelenskyy

A delegation from the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), led by its President Paul Grod, held an official meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi before the start of the Ukrainian World Congress Summit in Bucharest. The meeting focused on President Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula, Ukraine’s accession to NATO and the European Union, and the role of the Ukrainian diaspora in securing victory and rebuilding the country.

During the meeting, Paul Grod highlighted critical initiatives undertaken by the UWC, including the Unite With Ukraine campaign, which has raised approximately $60 million to support Ukrainian defenders, and the Energize Ukraine initiative, aimed at rebuilding Ukraine’s damaged energy infrastructure.

Besides this, Zelenskyy also participated in a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Ukraine, also held in Chernivtsi.

UWC President Paul Grod described the meeting as “highly significant,” as it allowed the UWC and the Office of the President to coordinate key priorities and plans in their collaborative efforts.

As Ukraine continues to face challenges posed by the ongoing war with the invading Russian army, the collaboration between the Ukrainian government and the Ukrainian diaspora remains crucial in garnering international support and ensuring the country’s future prosperity.
