Russia maintains a significant quantitative advantage in the conflict, outmatching Ukraine in ammunition and equipment numbers, according to intelligence from the British Ministry of Defence.
“Russia is likely recruiting approximately 30.000 additional personnel per month and can highly likely continue to sustain losses and continue attacks aimed at wearing down Ukrainian forces,” their daily report states.
It is also reported that Russian troops continue to gradually advance westward from Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast. By late March, the occupying army had taken control of two villages – Tonenke and Orlivka – and continued to exert pressure on other populated areas in this district.
According to the report, Russia continued attacks on several other sections of the front line, but has not achieved significant progress over the past few weeks.
