Ukraine shot down 8 out of 9 Shahed drones Russia launched from Cape Chauda in Russia-occupied Crimea.
Ukraine’s Air Defense reported downing Russian drones over Mykolaiv and Odesa oblasts.
In Odesa Oblast, Governor Oleh Kiper said the wreckage of a downed drone damaged a power facility, causing a fire.
The Southern Defense Forces reported part of the regional center and neighboring settlements were left without power.
In Mykolaiv Oblast, the wreckage of a downed drone fell on the territory of the private sector, causing a fire and damaging houses, Governor Vitaliy Kim said. Some 11 people were injured.
According to Kim, the attack also caused a fire on the territory of a power facility in Mykolaiv district.
