One dead, one wounded in Russian indiscriminate shelling of Kharkiv Oblast villages

Russian indiscriminate shelling killed a civilian in the Kharkiv Oblast (eastern Ukraine), the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor’s Office reported.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot counter daily Russian shelling of residential areas in Ukrainian frontline towns due to a lack of ammunition for the counterbattery fire that could help suppress Russian artillery systems.

The Russian army shelled three villages in the Kharkiv Oblast, where the Russian onslaught on Kupiansk is ongoing.

As a result of the Russian shelling of the village of Dvorichna in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv Oblast, a man was killed.

In addition, at about 2:00 pm, the enemy shelled Dvorichna village with artillery, killing a civilian. The killed civilian is currently being identified,” the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor’s Office reported.

Furthermore, around 3:00 pm, the Russian army used two guided aerial bombs to strike a residential area in the village of Vilkhuvatka in the Kharkiv Oblast. According to the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor’s Office, residential buildings were destroyed and damaged. There were no casualties.

Prosecutors, together with Ukrainian police investigators, collected evidence and documented yet another war crime by Russia.
