Over the past 48 hours, Ukrainian forces have intensified fighting in two sectors in southern Ukraine. Russians storm Ukrainian positions in the Serebriansk Forest west of Kremmina, facing resistance, UK intelligence reported.
South of Orikhiv, fighting is focused near the village of Robotyne, in the area of responsibility for Russia’s 58th Combined Arms Army, British intel said.
“Eighty kilometers to the east, Ukrainian forces defeated elements of Russian airborne forces’ (VDV) 247th Guards Air Assault Regiment to capture the village of Staromaiorske.”
Meanwhile, in the north, other VDV units continue offensive operations in the Serebriansk Forest west of Kremina but have achieved little ground, UK intel concluded.

While Russian glide bomb kits have struggled with accuracy, the numerous submunitions contained in a single RBK-500 glide bomb kit increase the chances of inflicting significant damage far from the intended target.
This incident not only represents a significant setback for Russia's drone program but also potentially hands valuable intelligence to Ukraine and its Western allies.
