On 10 July, two people were killed and three injured due to the Russian shelling of the towns of Avdiivka and Hostre in Donetsk Oblast, the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office reported.
The Russian military shelled the village of Hostre in the Pokrovsk district of the Donetsk Oblast at around 2:40 pm today. Due to the indiscriminate Russian shelling, a local resident was killed in Hostre. Three men aged 40 to 65, including a father and son, also sustained mine-blast injuries.
In addition, at about 3 pm, the Russian forces used heavy artillery to shell Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast, where a 54-year-old man was killed in his own home.

According to Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office, the artillery shelling damaged private households and outbuildings in Avdiivka and Hostre.
Russian army continues to multiply war crimes in Ukraine, targeting civilians and reducing residential areas of Ukrainian cities to rubble.
