The Russian military department has ordered several dozen of the latest hypersonic Zircon missiles from the industry, Russian propaganda media report.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation does not officially confirm this information.
In November 2021, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, stated that tests of the hypersonic Zircon cruise missile were being completed in Russia, and from 2022, it would enter service with the country's navy.
