The biggest knit flag of Ukraine was displayed in Chernihiv to celebrate the Day of Defenders of Ukraine on October 14. The flag is 30x20 meters huge. 350 people worked on it for several months, using 700 kilometers of yarn in total, which is the distance from Chernihiv to Kherson, currently occupied by the Russian troops, Chernihiv city council said. The flag was displayed near the Chernihiv's 18th century Katerynynska church.
The flag was made from smaller parts knit by 350 people.
