The International Committee of the Red Cross has temporarily halted its work in Ukraine for security reasons, Reuters reports citing the organization's spokesperson, after Russia's massive missile attack on multiple cities across Ukraine.
The ICRC Ukraine says the organization remains in Ukraine and will continue its activities:
Following the recent attacks, @ICRC_ua would like to clarify that our operations have not been suspended in the country.
To be clear, we remain in Ukraine and will continue our activities, all while adapting to the deteriorating security situation as required.
