On October 8, Ukrainian defenders of a mobile fire group of the Kherson anti-aircraft missile brigade shot down a Shahed-136 kamikaze drone with an Utios large-caliber machine gun in Mykolaiv Oblast, the Air Command South reported.

The Command also added that later this day another operational and tactical unmanned aerial vehicle of Russian forces was destroyed in Odesa Oblast by Ukrainian air defense units.
