Moscow Street disappears from Ukrainian capital

On 8 September, Kyiv authorities renamed 40 streets whose names were linked to Russia. The new names will honor significant Ukrainian historical events and figures, including in the current war in Ukraine.

Moscow Street has been renamed "Princes Ostrogski Street" and Volgogradska Street has been named after Roman Ratushniy, the hero of Ukraine who died in June 2022 defending the country from Russian forces.
