Norway has overtaken Russia as Europe’s biggest supplier of natural gas

Norwegian gas production is set to rise 8% this year and remain on that level until 2030, the countries energy minister told Reuters. The Nordic country is expected to produce some 122 billion cubic metres (bcm) of gas this year, according to official forecasts made in May.
