Together with illegal armed formations of so called People’s Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, the Russian group of troops amounts to more than 43 thousand militants, approximately 780 tanks, 1030 armoured vehicles, 500 artillery systems, almost 420 MLRS, 7 flame throwers “Buratino”, nearly 130 air defence systems”, – said Deputy Chief of Staff of the ATO in sector C Valentyn Fedychev.     January 28 – Russia forced an arrested resident of the Crimea out of his Ukrainian citizenship. Simferepol court refused Oleksandr Kolchenko his request to keep the citizenship of Ukraine.

    January 28 – When the residents of Zholobok village, which is occupied by Russian soldiers and militants, were being evacuated, one of the cars detonated near Ukrainian checkpoint. People who were in the car, where the bomb was planted, are currently at the hospital of Lysychansk.
