“Ukraine is in our hearts” international flashmob takes place in London

Article by: Alya Shandra

“With Ukraine in our hearts, no matter where we are” [З Україною в серці, де б ми не були]. This is the motto of an international flashmob to support Ukraine’s troops fighting against the Russian invasion in Donbas. On November 2, activists of London Euromaidan spelled the word “не” in front of the Buckingham palace under blue and yellow umbrellas.

Oksana Harasym, organizer of the event, said that communities in France, Germany, Italy, Georgia, Greece, The Netherlands are also taking part. But the very first letter was spelled by Ukrainian soldiers from the Ternopil special patrol battalion in the ATO zone:

The event takes place in front of easily recognizable places in different parts of the world: in Paris – in front of the Eiffel tower, in London it was Buckingham palace. Each diaspora group receives a word to be formed. London Euromaidan got “не”.

When all the words will be spelled out, they will be assembled into a general image to show the world’s support for Ukrainian troops. Watch the report of the initiative made by Inter channel correspondent Svitlana Chernetska.

"The possible deterioration of the safety situation is also supported by the increaseof Russian presence in eastern Ukraine and we have valid affirmations to assuredly state that the Russian army is acting on the side of the separatists," he emphasized.
