Euromaidan Wache Berlin lädt ein zur Buchpräsentation “Kyiv, Ukraine: The City of Domes and Demons from the Collapse of Socialism to the Mass Uprising of 2013-2014″ und anschließender Diskussion mit dem Autor Roman Cybriwsky, Professor für Geographie und Urbanistik an der Temple University in Philadelphia, USA

am Samstag, 5. Juli um 20.00 Uhr  im P.A.N.D.A Theater, Knaackstraße 97, 10435 Berlin

Die ukrainische Hauptstadt Kiew war wegen der vielbeachteten Euromaidan-Proteste in letzter Zeit weltweit in den Medien präsent. Bereits 2004 war der Kiewer Unabhängigkeitsplatz Schauplatz der Orangen Revolution und um die Jahreswende 2013-14 versammelten sich erneut hunderttausende Ukraine aus allen Landesteilen dort, harrten tage- und nächtelang in der Kälte aus, um für ihre Freiheit und Würde einzutreten und setzten dafür sogar ihr Leben ein. Was aber wissen wir darüber hinaus über Kiew?
