Alexander Moisseenko is a Belarusian-German journalist focusing on Eastern Europe, post-Soviet politics, and security issues. His work covers Russia’s foreign policy, democratic movements in the region, and the political and societal consequences of ongoing conflicts across Eastern Europe. He has worked as a journalist for Belarusian exile media outlets, including NEXTA. Born in Germany, he studied Politics and Society at the Catholic University of Eichstätt and later obtained a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Warsaw. His master’s thesis was titled “A Critical Analysis of Selected Realist Theories as Applied to the Russian Policy towards Ukraine (2013–2022).”
