Euromaidan Press is launching a long-term project #FormulaOfAction. Its aim is to collect and share experience of conducting successful actions and campaigns among activists.
A hybrid war demands an asymmetric response. Around the world, Ukrainian volunteer communities and activists resist the Kremlin’s well-financed machine propaganda and war machine. We are connecting those communities and sharing best practices among them.
Our Goal
We gather cases of protest activities, events, direct actions, advocacy campaigns, cultural diplomacy events, projects to help Ukraine, and similar initiatives. These stories will be shared among activists. In this way we want help activists who are organizing protest activities to make them successful and effective. Together, we are searching for the #FormulaOfAction which makes an event successful. We want to inspire pro-Ukrainian activists all over the world and to show them how effective their efforts can be.
Our Tools
We get in touch with activists who are long-time supporters of Ukraine abroad and invite new ones to join and unite them in the Friends of Ukraine Network. We look for interesting stories about protest activities and prepare articles based on these stories. These articles will be published on the Euromaidan Press website, the page of Facebook event #FormulaOfAction, and shared in the Friends of Ukraine weekly newsletter. Everybody who is interested in the project can read them and find out something new for his own formula of action. Please invite your friends to this FB event to let them know about the project!
How to join
Join the Friends of Ukraine Network and share your stories in the group, or send them to euromaidanpress(at)gmail.com. We will search for the secrets of success together with you and share our findings among fellow activists through the Friends of Ukraine Network newsletter, as well as the Euromaidan Press site.
Join the project either you have your experience to share or you want to learn how to make your actions successful. Together we can do much more than standing alone. We can self-organize in combating Russian propaganda and being a voice of Ukraine all over the world without having huge financial resources. Our main resource is our unity and will to help Ukraine. We can be loud and visible. We can be effective. Join the project and tell about your formula of action!
