On the night of 1 December, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 89 drones of the Shahed, "Gerbera" types and other unmanned aerial vehicles. Air defense neutralized 63 targets.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The drones were launched from Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea. Of the 89 drones, approximately 55 were "Shaheds."
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
As a result of combat operations, air defense neutralized 63 Russian drones of various types in the north, south and east of the country.
The military recorded strikes by 26 drones at nine locations.
