Russian actress Polina Menshikh was killed in an alleged Ukrainian strike while giving a performance to invaders who celebrated the Russian Day of Missile Forces and Artillery on 19 November, her theatre has said.
The actress was performing at a dance hall in occupied Donetsk Oblast when a strike by Ukrainian forces hit, killing at least 25 occupiers.
Robert Brovdi, the commander of the Ptakhy Madiara Aerial Reconnaissance unit of the 59th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said on Facebook that Ukrainian troops attacked Russia's 810th Guards Marines Brigade on 19 November.
He added that this was a retaliation strike for the attack on the soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, which killed 19 Ukrainian soldiers.
