The number of thefts and robberies has halved in Ukraine during the war

The number of thefts and robberies has halved during the war, Ukraine's Police informed.

In particular, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the police registered 212,000 crimes which is a 12% decrease. Yet, the number of felonies such as murders and rapes decreased by 50% (not counting war crimes), Oleksii Serheev, chief of the police analytics department said.

However, according to Serheev, the number of fraud cases increased by almost 30% and there have been 25% more bomb threat calls.
