Ukrainian forces carried out coordinated strikes overnight on 24 February against Russian command and logistics positions in occupied territories, the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported.
The General Staff said that these strikes are part of a sustained effort to degrade Russian combat capabilities by disrupting command networks, supply chains, and repair infrastructure, limiting Moscow’s ability to conduct effective operations.
The strikes included the use of ATACMS, US-made ballistic missiles capable of hitting targets up to 300 kilometers away.
5th Army command post, "Rubicon" center among targets
A command post of Russia’s 5th Army near Novopetrivka in occupied Donetsk Oblast was hit, along with storage and equipment facilities of the elite Russian “Rubicon” drone center near Vasylivka in occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Ukrainian units also targeted ammunition and logistics depots near Pryazovske in Donetsk Oblast and Oleksandrivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as a maintenance facility near Yakymivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Strikes on UAV control positions
The day before, Ukrainian forces struck Russian positions controlling UAV operations and observation posts in Udachne and Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast. Details on the losses and damage are still being verified.
