Ukrainian forces struck a Russian 1L119 Nebo-SVU radar station in occupied Luhansk Oblast, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The 1L119 Nebo-SVU radar station is a advanced Russian VHF surveillance radar designed for long-range detection, tracking, and identification of airborne targets, including stealth aircraft, to support air defense operations.
The radar station was hit near temporarily occupied Lymarivka in Luhansk Oblast. "The estimated cost of such a station is approximately $100 million," the General Staff reported.
Ukrainian forces also targeted several Russian drone control points on temporarily occupied territories in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. Strikes hit drone control facilities near the occupied settlements of Solodke, Rivnopillia, and Novohryhorivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as another near Pidstepne in temporarily occupied Kherson Oblast.
Ukrainian forces hit an ammunition depot near occupied Vasylivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast "with the aim of undermining the offensive potential of the occupiers," according to the General Staff.
"Hits have been recorded, the scale of enemy losses is being clarified," the report states. The Defense Forces continue to systematically reduce the offensive potential of Russian invaders.
