An An-2 aircraft made a hard landing in the Yermakovsky district of Russia's Krasnoyarsk Oblast, Kommersant reported, citing local law enforcement.
Two people were aboard the light aircraft, also known as a "corn cropper." One of them died during the landing, according to the report.
Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations said that the An-2 crash occurred 40 kilometers from the settlement of Tanizebey.
Rescue workers and one piece of equipment are operating at the scene. Additional forces, equipment, and medical personnel are en route to the location, the ministry reported.
