Russia’s ruler has expressed readiness to cease hostilities in Ukraine as long as it leads to “a lasting peace” and eradicates “the roots of the conflict.”

In other words, only if the US meets all of his terms, including the official recognition of four Ukrainian Oblasts as Russian, demilitarisation and “denazification” of Ukraine, and more.
