In the early hours of 13 December, the Russian military launched Shahed drones on Odesa, local governor Oleh Kiper said.
The drones were launched from the occupied Crimea. Crimea has become a Russian military base as well as other occupied territories and is used for further aggression.
According to Odesa Oblast head Kiper, one of the downed drones crashed into the premises of a municipal auto repair facility in Odesa. The repair hangar was destroyed, three cars were burnt out and 11 more sustained damage.
Russian attack resulted in injuring two civilian workers. They sustained injuries and burns and are currently hospitalized. One man is in moderately severe condition while the other is hospitalized in critical condition
Another Russian drone hit port infrastructure. No casualties were reported there.
Ukrainian forces downed 10 Shahed kamikaze drones and 10 ballistic missiles launched by Russia overnight into 13 December, Ukraine’s Air Force reported.
