Overnight into 30 November, Russia carried out another air attack on Ukraine, using 20 Shahed one-way attack drones and eight S-300 missiles. Such attacks have taken place almost every day over the last months. As the drones moved across Ukraine, the attack was triggering air raid alerts in most of Ukraine, including its eastern, central, and southern regions.

Ukraine’s Air Force Command says Russians launched the drones from two directions, from occupied Crimea (south) and Russia’s Primorsko-Akhtarsk (southeast), and the Ukrainian air defenders shot down 14 of the 20 “kamikaze” drones.vf

In addition, the occupiers attacked Donetsk Oblast with eight S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles,” the Air Forces says.

Ukrainian fighter jets, anti-aircraft missile units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack, according to the Air Force.

Earlier, various military and monitoring sources reported that the Shaheds can now change their route in flight as Russians added two-way communication systems to these previously unguided drones that earlier used only pre-programmed routes.
