Ukrainian forces push Russians back 3-8 km from the Dnipro River on the eastern bank — spokesperson. Russian mortar fire can’t reach Dnipro’s western bank anymore, but significant number of Russian troops remain in the Russian-controlled part of Ukraine’s Kherson Oblast, spokesperson for Ukraine’s Defense Forces Command “South” said on the TV air.
Gen Staff: Ukrainian forces secure positions on Eastern Bank of Dnipro. Ukrainian forces are advancing on the Melitopol and Bakhmut fronts, exerting pressure on Russian troops. There were a total of 45 battles on the frontline during the day.
ISW: Ukrainian forces advance in Dnipro’s eastern bank and in the south while Russians advance near Avdiivka. According to the latest ISW war assessment, both Ukrainian and Russian armies conducted their offensive campaigns on 17-18 November 2023 with minor advances on both sides.

Teen deported to Russia from Mariupol returns to Ukraine. Bogdan Ermokhin, who was forcibly deported to Russia and adopted in 2022, found himself at risk of conscription into the Russian army just after his 18th birthday. Today, he has successfully returned to Ukraine.
