A mobile hospital was opened in de-occupied Izium, Kharkiv Oblast, which can receive up to 100 patients a day, Head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov reported.
“We are resuming the provision of medical services in the de-occupied Izium. The hospital’s capacity allows to receive about 100 patients per day and perform up to 4 surgical interventions per day. The mobile facility is equipped with all the necessary equipment, qualified personnel, and contains 6 intensive care beds,” he wrote.
The immediate plans are to begin the reconstruction of the premises of the Izium hospital with centers for primary and emergency medical care.
- The city of Izium in Kharkiv Oblast was occupied by Russian troops from April 2, 2022, and on September 10, the Russians were forced to withdraw from it, leaving behind military equipment.
